I contribute focus on technology, FinTech and digital infrastructure to support the successful rollout of digital receipts at scale. The anybill solution integrates with merchant apps, wallets, banking and payment apps, bridging gaps across payment infrastructure end-to-end.

Oversaw every technology solution for the end-to-end customer journey - attracting, converting and retaining - across REWE's portfolio companies, reaching 12 million people daily and underpinning €93 billion in annual group turnover. Led multiple cross-functional product and engineering teams through strategic alignment, cross-domain initiatives and modernization of internal development and external vendors. Designed the long-term domain vision, integrated advanced analytics and customer data personalization for targeted marketing, and owned a yearly budget of tens of millions of euros.

Owned technology across MediaMarktSaturn's physical stores and the Checkout & Payment platform processing over €22 billion a year. Directed an omnichannel transformation impacting 1,000+ stores in 11 countries, covering modern PoS, internal employee applications, customer digital touchpoints, goods management and same-day delivery. Led the modernization of core payment architecture in-store and online, supporting hundreds of checkouts per second through Black Friday and Cyber Week peaks. Contributed to the group cybersecurity program via the IT Steering Committee and Tech Board.

Drove Cazoo's European engineering expansion program, scaling toward 600 people in two years through multiple acquisitions and hiring across Barcelona, Lisbon, London and Munich. Orchestrated a serverless AWS platform with a strong microservice architecture to absorb systems from acquired businesses, and ran deep Salesforce integration that powered real-time business decisions. Led technology for the subscription business and contributed to the IT Board on cybersecurity, vendor management and multi-country strategy.

Scaled an international engineering team and accelerated release cadence in a high-growth SaaS. Orchestrated a zero-downtime migration from AWS to Azure across a multi-region, multi-cluster Kubernetes environment without breaching a 99.995% SLA for 10M+ users. Engineered a high-traffic RabbitMQ messaging platform that supported 2x peak message volume, and led the shift from a pure PHP monolith to a container-based Node.js and React microservice architecture. The same platform still serves 37M+ users in 2025.

Architected and built a scalable online learning platform preparing students for Brazil's ENEM national exam, powered by AWS Lambda, Node.js, MongoDB and React. Directed product vision and technical strategy, delivering rapid user-base growth and keeping platform reliability above 99.99%. Cloud-native and serverless infrastructure kept costs modest while creating a clear competitive edge, leading to a successful acquisition in 2018.

Founded and built a retail software ecosystem covering PoS, stock, inventory, warehouse management, CRM and financial forecasting. Led strategic product development and operational execution to serve 800+ customers nationwide, scaling the company to 100 people with half the team remote. Guided Bonandos through a successful exit to private equity in 2015 after twelve years of hands-on leadership.
